Day 24-27: Not With a Bang, But a Whimper
So my last week of phase 1 started off so well! So well. And then three days in, I got sick- just totally knocked out with a cold.
The first day of being sick, I toughed it up and worked out. And then the next day when I was feeling much worse and thought, "There is no way I can work out," MIRACULOUSLY I remembered that since it was week 4 (when all the workouts change since its "Restoration Week") that that day was an extra rest day. SoIdidn'thavetoworkout! It was awesome and as my good friend Dave put it, A Christmas P90x miracle!
Then on the third day of being sick, I just couldn't do it. Just no. So I decided I would simply switch my upcoming day off with that one, so by the end of the week it would all equal out. But by the fourth day (yesterday) I again was just too sick to suck it up and do it, so I just said to myself, "You know what, Ramboza? You 'did your best, now forget the rest.' Its called Restoration Week for a reason, so how about gettin' some restoring done." And that's exactly what I did...which brings me to today, my last day of Phase 1. Usually its my day off, but I did in fact work out to make up for one of my sick days. SO TAKE THAT, COLD!
Weekly Update Video will be up tomorrow night!

Day 22 & 23: On The Home Stretch! (Well, kind of...)
I can't believe Phase 1 is almost over! I thought I would be dead by now, but somehow, magically, I'm still alive, and still working out. Last week was the hardest week so far, but now that I'm almost a 1/3 of the way done, I'm gettin' my fire back and I'm looking forward to finishing off this week in true Ramboza style.

Day 18, 19 & 20: All Work and Several Belly Aches Make Ramboza a Bad P90xer
So my last 3 days of week three were rough. A busy schedule, wedding boot camps of dear friends, and some kind of mild food poisoning really took its toll on me. My belly hurt so bad on my last night of working out that I had to stop half way through my video. That's the first (and hopefully last) time I'll have to do that.
But I made it through the week, and now only one more week to go until Phase 1 is complete! I'm ready to bring it! (And apparently I'm bringing it by order of Tony Horton.)

Day 17: Hey, Mikey! He Likes It!
Cardio X was the very first P90x video I did, and boy did I hate it. The exercises were hard, I couldn't deal with the host, and I swore that I'd rather accidentally set my hair on fire (again) than to ever have to repeat that workout.
But when week two rolled around, and I wasn't in the mood for yoga, I thought, Hey, maybe I was over-reacting...Maybe, it wouldn't hurt to just give it one more shot, now that I've gotten used to the program a little bit. So I tried it and...I kind of like it! Its really weird! I'm not really sure why my tune changed so much, but it definitely has.
So, (ahem) Cardio X...I'm sorry I said I hated your guts. And believe me, I did. But like Napoleon Dynamite, you really grew on me. So, I'm glad you're still around.

Day 15 & 16: Things I Like to Do Late at Night? Not Work Out, That's What.
Usually by 10 pm I am ready to crash on my couch, watch some of Season 4 of The Wire, and just call it a day. But, I've been so busy these past few days that the only time I've had to work out has been around 9:30 or 10 each night! Its been very uncool. I think I'd rather be tied to a chair and forced to watch a marathon of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, than to have to do Ab Ripper X at 11 pm...
